Standard Finishes

We exclusively use premium, sustainably sourced lumber, often harvested locally from the mid-Atlantic region.

Finished by hand with Osmo Polyx, a natural oil and wax blend, our pieces develop a durable satin luster that’s easy to maintain. We highlight each wood’s natural character and do not use stains or paint, though we do offer natural lightening and darkening processes such as bleaching, oxidizing, and ebonizing.

Additional Materials

While our work is rooted in solid hardwoods, we frequently incorporate other natural and enduring materials — brass, suede, leather, ceramic, and stone.
